What: TechFest Volunteers Needed for 2-hour Shifts
When: Saturday February 16 10AM-6PM & Sunday February 17 11AM-5PM

Our Post teams with ASCE to offer the hands-on, crowd-favorite “Gumdrops and Toothpicks Construction Zone” exhibit where kids of all ages to try their hand at putting together structural shapes using these two simple items. Adult volunteers primarily to encourage the kids, resupply them, manage seating, and keep things orderly. The work is in 2 hour shifts and very easy and rewarding! TechFest is a FREE two-day family event held annually at Sinclair Community College. It has been organized and conducted by the Affiliate Societies Council of Dayton since 2003. The theme of TechFest is Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). There are typically 70 hands-on exhibits and several INF-O-TAINMENT presentations to engage all ages in STEM related activities. BRING YOUR KIDS to this event!
