Our speaker, Colonel Hartman, will discuss how to do business with AFCEC and all of the contracting opportunities and future efforts in the CE enterprise. Colonel Hartman is the Director of Planning and Integration, Air Force Civil Engineer Center, Joint Base San Antonio – Lackland, Texas. In this capacity, he leads a talented military, civilian and contractor team of 80 personnel to accomplish enterprise planning for installation complexes, to develop natural and built infrastructure investment strategies that minimize risk to mission and Airmen, and to ensure the right acquisition tools are available to execute the Civil Engineer enterprise investment strategy.
Colonel Hartman entered the Air Force in 1991 upon graduation from the Reserve Officer Training Corps at the home of the Mighty Gators, University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida. He has served in a broad variety of installation, major command and Headquarters Air Force assignments, including HAF branch chief, MAJCOM division chief, deployed A7 forward, Squadron and Group Commander.
