New Hangar Construction Project at National Museum of the United States Air Force:
The US Corps of Engineers and their contractor, Turner Construction invite the Kittyhawk Post of SAME to tour the newest addition to the National Museum of the United States Air Force.
This event is limited to a maximum of 40 participants which will split into two smaller groups.
Due to these larger numbers, the contractor is very limited in visitor PPE (personal protective equipment) so please bring your own. If you don’t have access to the proper PPE (see bleow), Please contact Chris Hesse to check availability. Minimum PPE requirements are hard hats, safety vests (highly visible fluorescent orange or yellow shirts may be substituted), ANSI Z-87 safety glasses, and boots/heavy duty soled shoes. Those that do not have them will not be able to go onsite. This is still an active Construction Site.
This event is free, but space is limited and requires advance registration.
